Senior IA / UX Designer at Fox Mobile Group - NYC

Contract-to-perm
Lower Manhattan, NYC
Experience required - 7 years
Education required - Bachelor's
Travel required - Occasional
Salary - Commensurate with experience

Fox Mobile Group is seeking an senior-level, totally amazing information
architect / user-experience designer to work with our product teams
conceiving, defining, designing, and building the next generation of mobile
entertainment services.

We're looking for a senior IA that can plug straight into a product team
consisting of product managers, visual designers, copywriters, front-end
developers, and engineers, and work collaboratively with these fine folks
from project conception through to final implementation, and beyond.

Of course you'll have a great portfolio that shows us:
-Your facility authoring and maintaining detailed design specifications and
wireframes (gotta rock the wireframes)
-Experience with user research and usability testing
-Examples of typical artifacts of the user-centered design process (user
definition, user-task analysis, personnas, sitemaps, user flow charts,
sketches, storyboards, low-fi and hi-fi prototyping...you get the picture)
-Some of the jaw-dropping final products that you've produced with past
colleagues

We're also looking for people that:
-Over-communicate and work well with their teammates
-Possess solid presentation skills and excellent written communication
ability
-Have been doing this for, oh, 7 years at least
-Are as excited as we are about how mobile computing is gonna change
everything
-Are weird enough to be interesting
-Are relaxed and can roll with the punches
-While striving to make kick-ass products

It would be great if you had mobile experience, but if you're obviously cool
and brilliant, we can work it out.

-You need to be legal to work in the USA
