Contract IA position at Staples
We have an immediate need for an IA to work on browser-based interfaces.

This is a short-term contract position (4-8 weeks) with the possibility
to convert to long-term (~6 months).
The scope of the work will include creating process flows based on
understanding gleaned from existing systems, prototypes, requirement
sessions and ongoing ethnographic user research. Other assets like
low-fidelity wireframes and content maps will also be created in
accordance with in-house standards.
At Staples these IA deliverables are widely used by the business and IS
departments as means of communication and form a part of our development
methodology.
If you are interested please respond to Lisa.YoungGee at STAPLES.COM
with the following:
*	Resume
*	Work Samples (wire frames, flows, case studies, etc.). Please
zip if more than 1MB.
*	Rate. If you are responding as a company, please give a range
per the type of services you offer. If you are an independent feel free
to give a range based on duration of work.
*	Ability to work at our headquarters in Framingham (we cannot pay
relocation costs for contract work)
Please, no phone calls.
Usability and Information Architecture at Staples
The Usability Group at Staples supports our Retail Stores, Catalogs and
Web Sites. We are responsible for research and functional design of both
employee and customer interfaces. We tackle a wide variety of artifacts
including web interfaces, packing slips, store signage, green screens
and marketing materials.
We are located about 30 minutes west of Boston in Framingham, MA.
Depending on the nature of the work we may require consultants to be on
site for weeks or months at a time. However, from time to time there are
opportunities to work remotely.
Thanks!
