This is a full time, on-site, salaried Information Architect position located in New York City paying a salary of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience + benefits. No telecommuting allowed. Founded in 1998, our client is the world's leading digital brand asset management firm. Their software solutions allow companies to manage their brand consistently and efficiently across diverse regions and divisions through fully-customized online portals. Your employment as Information Architect will consist of working with a dedicated and passionate mix of project managers, designers and software developers. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and document functional/business requirements based on information gathering sessions with clients/stakeholders - Conduct user interviews, define user profiles and scenario development - Visualize concepts quickly and cleanly through sketching and other rapid prototyping methods - Generate taxonomy to guide the visual design of information navigation - Create site maps, process flow diagrams, use case scenarios, activity diagrams to document site architecture, business logic and system workflows - Develop wireframes/interface schematics and interaction models to describe the intended user experience - Write functional specifications and other functionality requirement documents (such as website specifications) according to standard templates - Understand and document technical considerations/limitations with the assistance of the project Technical Lead - Assist in developing site content to fit the targeted user/brand experience Requirements: - Strong analytical and information design skills required - Strong understanding of usability, accessibility and web standards - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong client-facing skills with experience in working with cross-capability teams in a deadline-driven environment - Bachelors degree required in related fields or equivalent four years working experience - Three years relevant work experience - Must be completely fluent in Adobe Creative Suite products (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (including Visio) - Must be a hands-on team player who is willing to do what it takes to get a job done - Must be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver who can describe solutions clearly to those with differing levels of technology background - Light travel (20%) If you are interested in this job, please submit your RESUME and SALARY requirements to opensourcestaffing|AT|gmail.com Thank you, Beau J.
