This is a full time, on-site, Information Architect position located in New York, NY paying a salary of $95,000 to $135,000 depending on experience + benefits. They are seeking an Information Architect to add to their growing team. This person will play an integral role in the development of our clients' web sites. This person will work closely with all in-house teams involved in the web development process. The Information Architect will contribute to the planning process of various websites by organizing information, developing website architectures, and overseeing integration of site and functional concept with visual concept and content. 360i offers a great opportunity to work with amazing media and entertainment brands such as NBC, MTV and Turner (to name a few) and produce ground-breaking creative and technology across our digital marketing, website design and development clients. Primary responsibilities include: * Participate in initial strategy sessions to help identify and set direction for achieving client's objectives * Collaborate with creative team to brainstorm and validate experience design concepts * Understand and utilize usability guidelines * Create user personas * Coordinate and conduct usability testing sessions * Organize content into logical categories and develop structural design through establishing the foundation of information access and functional relationships at the site and page-level * Produce site maps, flow charts, taxonomies & wireframes * Document and present structural concepts to Creative, Content Strategy and Technical teams as well as to client (when applicable) * Oversee integration of site and functional concept with visual concept and content * Communicate and collaborate with Project Manager, Designer, Content Developers and Technical staff through all stages of User-Interface development * Contribute to User Experience brief by identifying how the proposed site architecture, functionality and navigation reflect the strategy and audience objectives outlined by Client services and Account Planning service. Requirements: * Minimum 4 years' experience in web site architecture design for Interactive medium (*supporting examples required) -- proven experience with e-commerce websites a must * BA/BS in Information Design, Instructional Design, UI design, Human factors or related field or equivalent real-world experience * Demonstrated expertise in human interface guidelines, industry standards and best practices * Advanced knowledge of architecture software programs (e.g. Visio, Power Point, Illustrator, etc.) * Experience building interactive prototypes is preferred * Strong presentation and communication skills. * Ability to negotiate effectively with a client and represent particular design decisions * Outstanding organizational skills * Ability to understand, manage, and prioritize multiple projects * Team player - high energy level, and willingness to do "whatever it takes" If you are interested in this job, please submit your RESUME and SALARY requirements and well as WIREFRAME SAMPLES to opensourcestaffing|AT|gmail.com Thank you, Beau J.
