User Experience Consultant required for a leading Travel and Entertainment company. You will be designing User Experience across 30 online brands in the UK and Europe with an average of 6 million hits a day. You will be responsible for all 30 sites as they are all central to the London office. Ultimately you will be using the full user centred design process to create fantastic and compelling user experience across their whole online presence. You will be working within a team of 4 UX consultants working very closely with the production and product team to work on optimising whats live on the site to looking at future strategic projects. This is a hands on position where you will be expected to be able to run with projects and have a portfolio demonstrating your UX capabilities. Saying that the experienced lead and head UX are more than happy to mentor and develop your skill set. The role has a mix of research and UX design involved. Really believe in research and testing not just in the UK but through Europe too. Have several user testing sessions across Germany over the next month testing several different versions of prototypes. Use a wide range of testing methodologies from implementing eye tracking once a month, multi variant testing to one to one user testing. This is a client who really lives and breathes testing. You will be working closely with business stakeholders and users to create wireframes, interactive prototypes which offer practical and dynamic UX solutions. You will be redesigning core user journeys across the UK site, looking at the negative journeys and assessing how to improve the journeys and overall customer experience on the site. In the past few years my client has really pushed their online presence. Although they have a strong online presence with 6 million hits a day it is still growing giving the digital and online team an almost start up feel to it. The office environment is very refreshing offering a very exciting place to work with some of the best minds in their field. Company is very bought into UX, really seeing and promoting the value of UX, centralising it to the business.
