Calling Senior UX Consultants! Ladies and Gentleman! I have a very interesting role which will certainly bring a smile to some of your faces... Are you currently in a role where you have very little strategic input during a project, or want to gain exposure to management? If so, then read on. You might be wondering just how much strategy is involved. The ratio break down is (40% strategy, 40% interaction design and 20% user research). This is a Senior UX role in which you will work with 5 other senior consultants and line-manage 1 junior consultant. The beauty of this project is its complexity. The client is a financial services company that needs to firstly understand how to implement a way of engaging users through the (Acquisition tool) process, with the view to attract engage nurture onboard encourage converge. Using Persuasive Design techniques you will influence users to respond to the products/services in such a way that they return. My client will profit, only if customers return to do the same thing, over and over and over again. The company adopts an Agile approach to design and development and they have incorporated KANBAN a modified version of Agile. You will work in a collaborative team and be involved at the conceptual stage right through to execution. Working in an environment that embraces customer centred design, it will allow you to focus on being a problem solver. The working culture promotes collaboration too, since most staff disciplines involved in the project all work under one roof. After taking a tour through their offices, I felt that it is truly a beautiful place to work. With a view of the Thames, a kitchen that provides free fruit & coffee, and a Gym which is only minutes away it really did convey a sense of niceness... The company described the working culture as being chatty, verbal, collaborative and open... This role is really suited to someone who feels comfortable working with friendly, yet direct stakeholders and feel comfortable conversing with strong minded individuals in a fast paced environment. Investment in your ability is of great importance to this company... The Head of UX described the willingness of the business to support your development, as nothing short of ...exceptional. In addition, the company has Bookclubs in which staff can come together to discuss & debate ideas which helps to stimulate the mind. And better still, the company will provide training about the product and the target audience in quite some detail. Ultimately, this opportunity is fabulous. The role requires someone who can really think about devising solutions. In an environment that is open to ideas and concepts there is no limit to how successful your design solutions can be...
