Calling permanent Senior UX Architects! I have an interesting opportunity with a client-side company looking for a Senior UX Architect to provide customer centred design solutions across web, mobile, tablet and product interfaces. Managing a mid-weight UX practitioner you will work in the central IT hub and report into the Head of Format. The Business The company is under-going a restructure and moving away from being a retail business and becoming a enabled digital business with a purpose to exploit technology across all major digital channels to increase their market share of customers and be at the forefront of digital. Projects Currently the business is carrying out intense research activities into creating a mobile gaming application for all the major devices (android, windows mobile and iOS). They are also looking for the Senior UX person to carry-out (product design) on the UI for in-store kiosks (self service terminals) and to design the interaction across the mobile/tablet applications and website. Agile is the development methodology that company works within. The environment is fast-paced and you will present your design concepts to the (committee of stakeholders). You will also be involved in deciphering which business case should be implemented and be integral to the initial design strategy meetings. What sort of person would like this role? You will like this role if you are interested in carrying-out the interaction design for consumer-facing applications/websites with a particular focus on quantitative results. Those who have more of a technical background will prefer this role. 75% of the role involves interaction design/conception activities and the remaining 25% will consist of running focus groups and developing findings from personas, therefore making this role more suitable to those who prefer to work across the full UCD lifecycle with no aversions to conducting research activities. This is great opportunity for a Senior User Experience Architect who is interested in working on consumer facing projects with a retail/sales focus. If you are keen to solve conversion issues and other design related problems through persuasive interaction design this is an opportunity worth finding out more about.
