[Sigia-l] [JOB] UI/Front-End Engineer to 140k + Equity + Relo (multiple locations)

This is a full time, on-site, salaried UI/Front-End Engineer position 
located in various locations (see below) paying $120,000-$140,000 
depending on experience + benefits + equity + relo if required. No 
telecommuting allowed. US Citizens or Green Card holders only please. 
Local candidates preferred, but client will pay relocation expenses for

* Alexandria, VA (preferred)
* Albuquerque, NM (preferred)
* New York, NY (possible)

We are seeking candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced, agile 
development environment and have experience with modern technology 
stacks used to build rich web-based applications. The ideal candidate 
will be a strong communicator with the ability to work effectively in a 
team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design and implement intuitive, dynamic front-end features
* Elegantly translate mockups and wireframes into efficient and reusable 
HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and engineers to 
establish and refine requirements
* Rapidly prototype and refine applications based on user experience 
feedback

Required Skills:
* Experience developing dynamic applications with HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX
* In-depth understanding of native JavaScript development and best 
practices
* Proficient with multiple JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, 
Knockout, and Backbone
* Thorough understanding of cross browser/platform development and issues
* Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
* Experience building web applications using Ruby on Rails
* Experience with RESTful interfaces
* Experience with Node.js
* vExperience with mobile applications

Education / Experience:
* B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or 
comparable work experience) required
