The Annual Meeting of the Association for Information Science and Technol=
ogy is the premier international conference dedicated to the study of inf=
ormation, people, and technology in contemporary society. The ASIST AM ga=
thers leading scholars and practitioners from around the globe to share i=
nnovations, ideas, research, and insights into the state and future of in=
formation and communication in play, work, governance, and society.=20

ASIST AM has an established record for pushing the boundaries of informat=
ion studies, exploring core concepts and ideas, and creating new technolo=
gical and conceptual configurations -- all situated in interdisciplinary =
discourses.=20

The conference welcomes contributions from all areas of information scien=
ce and technology.  The conference celebrates plurality in methods, theor=
ies and conceptual frameworks and has historically presented research and=
