If only we were able to specify in sitecopyrc:
#The shell command to copy a file:
pcp %SOURCE :%DESTINATION
#The shell command to delete a file:
prm :%FILE
#The shell command to create a directory:
pmkdir :%DIRECTORY
#The shell command to remove a directory:
prmdir :%DIRECTORY
a whole world of possibilities would then open up, no?
As I intend to transfer at 19200 baud, elegance can take a back seat.

Or perhaps I could make four phony commands earlier on $PATH, called
cp, rm, mkdir and rmdir, that do what I want underneath...
