Ignoring remote directories

Hi there.

This is not a direct reply to the message I found, but maybe you can
help me:

I maintaind the site using sitecopy, but now there are troubles, so is
it possible to check somehow which fiels are up there?

I did the following (mistake):

sitecopy -i mysite
sitecopy -c mysite
sitecopy -f mysite

now when I do 
sitecopy -u mysite
it will create many directories which allready exist on the other site.
why doesnt sitecopy mark this directoreis as existing instead of
bringing error messages?

What can I do now?
