Yes, the patch actually did solve a crash I was having, but the one I posted 
the backtrace for earlier did indeed crash on --sync.  Basically here's what 
happens:

1) sitecopy --fetch devspace
2) sitecopy --sync devspace
3) wait a bit
4) CTRL+C to cancel
5) Segmentation Fault

This is doing a fresh pull from the sftp site (ie. there's nothing locally 
yet).  Also, I noticed these strange warnings:

"Could not set modification time of local file. - No such file or directory"
