Sitecopy upload very slow

Hi!

My sitecopy uploads are extremely slow. I tried several other ftp clients, 
which all maxed out my upstream (ca. 60kB/s), but with sitecopy, I only get 
about 1-5kB/s. Sadly, my webhoster only supports FTP.

Another weird thing appeared today: I use "state checksum", and sitecopy 
uploads files that have not been changed (not even touched) since the last 
upload. Together with the first problem, this is a little bit annoying.

Any Ideas?
