Cygwin port and daylight savings time

Hi all, I am using the cygwin port to have folder on the hard drive updated on a webdav site. This worked fine until the point when here in Germany the time changed from normal time to daylight savings time. At this point sitecopy claimed that all files on the server were outdated. However after patching the proper xml file in .sitecopy/ by subtracting 3600 from the modification time everything worked again. Is there a better way to fix this?
