Using common sitemesh decorators for all web apps

I just upgraded my sitemesh jar to 2.2 from whatever it was before (unkown) and am no longer gettting that exception.

must have been some old bug.  Anyway I am half way there.  I am getting the response from my PHP app, but it is not being deccorated.

as far as I can tell it should be as I have :
	<filter-mapping>
		<filter-name>sitemesh</filter-name>
		<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
	</filter-mapping>

in the web.xml
anybody got any ideas?
