Debugging

One of two things is happening.

First, nothing is decorated.  No errors, but no decorations.  This I can chalk up to my lack of knowledge of SiteMesh, although at this point I feel like I understand what's happening, so I'm surprised it's not working.

Second, many of the examples (or some of my own tests) are throwing IllegalStateExceptions:

I did see some references in the forums to an error similar to this with static pages in Tomcat, but I'm getting these in the examples, which I would have expected to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  SiteMesh looks perfect for what we want to do, and I'm looking forward to getting it working.
