I am experiencing many problems with my Tomcat 5.5 installation. Three or four times a day, I have to restart Tomcat as the Java heap is filled up and no more requests are being served. I have many different pages, all decorated with Sitemesh. The concept works really well, I'm quite pleased with Sitemesh. The lead developer of the project thinks Sitemesh is causing the memory leaks and wants to use Tiles. I'm not too fond of Tiles myself but Sitemesh does seem to be causing the problem. We've disbled most all other jars and haven't really found a problem anywhere. The site easily has 10,000 views a day. I guess my question is: can Sitemesh handle these amounts? What are the numbers for the Opensymphony website? Is anyone using Sitemesh for a site that has over 10,000 views (jsp requests) daily? Is anyone else experiencing memory problems? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted via Jive Forums http://forums.opensymphony.com/thread.jspa?threadID=3547&messageID=8998#8998 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
