Sitemesh problem running on WebSphere App Server 6

Hi Joe, my post on the IBM DeveloperWorks WAS forum went unanswered, so no help there.  Unfortunately, during our transition we need compatibility between WAS5 and WAS6, and WAS5 doesn't support the different <dispatcher> tags in the deployment descriptor.  But you're right about WAS6/Servlet 2.4 being more strict.  We found many instances of code that was not written to spec, and worked fine with WAS5, but does not work with WAS6.

Anyway, the "welcome-file" problem is just an annoyance at this point.  We have worked around it by just including "default.jsp" in our URLs.
