Am more than happy to hand over the reigns to someone who wants to step 
up.  Unfortunately Joe Walnes and I don't have as much time as we both 
used to do devote to Sitemesh.

Any potential maintainer would have to prove themselves over a (short) 
period with patches, and an ability to understand multiple servlet 
containers.
