Also, I think the source of the in article described "org.leaf.filters.ProxyFilter" would be a great contribution/extension to SiteMesh, since this way "integrating" external sites could work just "out-of-the-box" (not to mention that the most of SiteMesh users are not even aware about such a possibility).
