The only place I have changed .jsp to .jspx is in decorators.xml to point to
jspx decorator.
And in spring mvc config to suffix logical view names with .jspx instead of
.jsp.

When I change both back to jsp my app works decorated...

To bad sitemesh has no logging at all. Makes it difficult to pinpoint the
problem.
