Mr. Payne, there's are fairly simple solutions to the problem: 1) Don't use static content in your decorators 2) Process static content as if it were dynamic content (i.e., route .html through the JSP processor). Neither solution is very satisfactory to me. They do work, however. There is an effort underway to refactor how the sitemesh filters work to attempt to address this. It's not an insignificant process, however, so it's very difficult to say "it will be ready by THIS DATE."
