segfaults with Python 2.3.x

Hi everybody --

For some time, I and others having been getting intermittent segfaults
with skunkweb when using the various releases of Python 2.3.

The culprit now appears to be mx.DateTime. SkunkWeb in cvs can run
(with reduced functionality, namely, no <:date:> tag), without mx.
This version did not segfault in my tests when run without mx loaded.

Other users on the egenix-users list have had segfaults, too, and
applying the attached (reverse) patch to mxDateTime.c (version used
was egenix-mx-base-2.1.0-2003-08-09, but others should work) appears
to fix the problem.

If you are using Python 2.3 and getting segfaults, I recommend
applying this patch! If you run into trouble, it doesn't work, you
have a better solution, or if you have been using 2.3 and *not* seeing
segfaults, please write to the list!

Thanks,

Jacob Smullyan
