HTML+TIME support in IE7 ?

Hi all - i'm trying some audio and video stuff in IE7, but it doesn't seem to work (HTML itself and pictures work ok). Yes, i have "play sound in pages" turned on. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms976099.aspx says that HTML+TIME includes a default player so you don't have to specify a player in most cases. But this default players seem to be gone from IE7 (and btw, what are those "most cases" - when would it not work?) I seem to remember that at least MS' own examples worked in previous IE versions (5.5 and 6); now, in IE7, example 6 on http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms976099.aspx does not work (i see all 4 pictures right away, and clicking the buttons has no effect). Example 7 should play a video, but it doesn'.. what is going on? Puzzled, Damjan B.
