Hello, If Theora video does not meet your requirements there is another free video codec, Dirac. The good news, it's royalty free, open source... ready for use. The bad news, no SMIL players support it yet. Dirac 1.0.0 was released September 17, 2008. http://diracvideo.org/ jose
