Pole display for 2.6.10

 I sent a mail before but seems to have got lost. Just wondering if anybody 
has been able to get a pole display to work on 2.6.10? I'm setting up POS for 
a friend who has a small retail shop and he would like to use a pole display.
I tried SL-POS patch but can't seem to get it to work with this version.
Any help would be much appreciated.
