I think Dieter meant that there is no elegance when the patch removes the wild cards after they were added by a previous code. The right way would have been to change the behavior at the time the wild cards are being added. And for that, I agree totally but this brings us back to the original question: How can you show a report for "customer1" without showing the numbers of "customer10", "customer11"... ?
