Squid-2.6.STABLE9 available

The Squid Web Proxy developers are pleased to announce the availability
of the Squid-2.6.STABLE9 bugfix release. This release corrects several
major errors found in earlier releases.

All users are recommended to schedule an upgrade to this release.

The most important bug fixes in the Squid-2.6.STABLE9 release are
(including 2.6.STABLE8):

      * Bug #1878: If-Modified-Since broken in 2.6.STABLE8
      * Bug #1873: authenticateNTLMFixErrorHeader: state 4.
      * Bug #1872: Date parsing error causing objects to get
        unexpectedly cached.

In addition there is numerous minor bugfixes and improvements. For more
