Squid 3.0 STABLE 8 is available

The Squid HTTP Proxy team is pleased to announce the
availability of the Squid-3.0.STABLE8 release!


This release is adds a few needed features now ported from Squid 2.6.

  * cachemgr sub-actions
  * userhash peer selection method
  * sourcehash peer selection method

A number of bugs are also fixed and the Windows support is raised a few 
more bars.

Bug 2400 now closed, may have been noticeably impacting service levels 
when Authentication meets ICAP access controls. If you are running 
3.0/ICAP under load you may gain some performance benefit from this release.
