you're thinking of a core feature. You want:

<!-- noindex -->
stuff you don't want indexed
<!-- index -->
stuff you DO want indexed

works with swish-e regardless of which aggregator you use: DirTree.pl, spider.pl 
or any of the built-in -S options.
