segfault on xpath queries :P

for the moment I'm using the filesystem database. I have six files 
loaded into the db. If I request the files themselves, I get them; if I 
try to do any xpath query I get a segfault.

I copied the xpath.py test from the libxml2-python library and used it 
on my files; every one of them ran fine.

I'm not quite sure what to do at this point; I'm not quite sure where 
it's falling down.

I am using the latest syncato (I just did a cvs up, still cores) and 
the latest libxml2 (2.6.9).

I would really appreciate some feedback on this, if only where I should 
go for additional debugging.
