This will allow for an editing UI and what have you. Note: my use of the term data type is probably different then traditional use. What I mean by that is the definition of new container and collection types. For instance weblog posts are "item" containers and a weblog is made of a collection of items. I'm not talking about defining and constraining detailed data types. They're squishy types. Maybe that's what I'll call them. :-) Basically the container just has to have a few basic properties, i.e. an item must have a title and a description, but from there it's open to putting whatever you want into it.
