Fw: Catering for Colour blindness within internet sites

Thanks to those who have replied. They have helped in more ways than one and
given me more food for thought.

Just to elaborate a bit more. At the moment i'm just getting together my
proposal - i don't start the actual dissertation until next year (I'm doing
this through distance learning, while working full-time as a software
developer with a keen interest in HCI). Therefore, i'm only undertaking
initial investigations into this at the moment. Once next year gets here,
then i'll be heading off to the libraries around the UK and doing the
research in ernest.

I've tried doing searches on the internet, but most of the stuff that gets
returned is more about the medical aspects of colour blindness (e.g. the
different types of colour blindness and about all the rods and cones).
Hence, this is why i posted the original post. I don't know whether there is
anything out there that could help/would help me with this.

Maybe i just need to keep looking and dig a bit deeper.....now where did i
leave that spade :o)

Thanks again for the help so far. If anyone else does know of anything that
could help me. I would be very appreciated.

I wonder whether anyone can help me.
I'm undertaking my MSc Research and Dissertation in Computing through the
Open University and looking at Accessibility and Usability of internet sites
and consideration towards people who are Colour Blind.

Does anyone know of any resources or be able to point me in the right
direction that may prove useful for my research? I've found some useful
information in the few HCI books I own, but can't seem to find anything else
that will be able to help me.
