Yes, in response to Bill's question below, I do this when it seems that a  
user persona will have a set of specific needs from the same interface.That  
would include the environment - eg.
 
PersonUsingRetailsiteDuringLunchhour (i.e.in a hurry, maybe a bit furtive)  
vs PersonUsingRetailsiteatHomeinEvening (i.e less pressure)
 
I recently had an experience with a car parking pay-for-ticket  machine in 
the rain and wind, which made a considerable difference to my  need for speed 
and clarity - and had not been considered by the designer! 
 
CarParkerUnderCover vs CarParkerInDrivingRain would have been a useful  
concept there!
