Half-day Workshop on Card Sorting for Navigation Design - London 19 March

This short hands-on workshop covers the practical and theoretical
aspects of card sorting in web and intranet navigation design. It
introduces our innovative approach using laser-printed cards and bar
code readers for quick and accurate data capture, although many of the
issues discussed are applicable to any form of card sorting (including
virtual web-based sorting).

Course Outline

- Basics of cluster analysis and dendograms 
- Getting more from your data with surface maps
- Find rogue participants or items with quality of fit and de
- Briefing for practical 

Open card sort practical (using live high-street web sites)

Navigation design practical

Closed card sort practical


This half-day course is one of two we are presenting on 19 March in
central London (Portland Place). You can attend either of the half days
(the morning session is on Ajax design and usability) or receive a
