Hi Everyone,
I am in my last year at university and recently started a HCI module. So
far I have found the subject really interesting.
I have a couple of assignments. Obviously I want to do well, and so I
thought I would source my information from the experts ;-)
My first assignment is as follows:
"The use of Hierarchical Task Analysis greatly clarifies the users' needs in
designing computer software"
Discuss this statement using examples, hypothetical or practical, to
illustrate the points made.
I thought you might be able to help me define a good practical experiment I
could do. I am able to design websites so I thought I might design two -
one using a Task Analysis and one not, and then getting a group of users to
test it and from the answers find out the outcome of using task analysis
:-/....... However, I wanted your guidance on that as I think I may be
missing the point (I am new to this :-) ).
Also - If anyone has any links handy to websites or articles that would be
useful in answering this question. I would greatly appreciate it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
JT
