FLTK is the X11 version of the widget set (the original one.) FLNX is the 
microwindows-based version of the widget set (derived from FLTK.)

When configuring ViewML, you can choose either X11-based or 
Microwindows-based. For X11, you need FLTK and Imlib. For Microwindows, you 
need FLNX (and no imlib.)

You don't have to install Microwindows, just point the ViewML configure script 
to the righ location with --with-microwin=/your/path/to/microwindows/src
