I have recently downloaded PIXIL operating enviroment with PDA = Application (v1.2.3 September 10, 2003) in my linux platform. I have managed quite easily to build it and run = the run_pda.sh executable file for default compiler gcc,g++. But I would like to build it for ARM processor, especially for = ARM9(arm-elf tools). I replaced config file with config.ARM and I selected cross compiler = (Strong ARM) through menuconfig. In order to succeed compiling for arm-elf tools i also changed CXXFLAGS, = CFLAGS in the distributed Makefiles. The only problem now is with flnx tool and its configure file. I changed = the main paths...but when the configure file=20 finds arm-elf-gcc compiler cannot create default output. I take the = message below: checking for arm-elf-gcc... /usr/local/bin/arm-elf-gcc checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler = cannot create executables make[1]: *** = [/home/pkiritsi/MMI_Project/pixil-1.2.3/libs/flnx/.configured] Error 77 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pkiritsi/MMI_Project/pixil-1.2.3/libs' make: *** [_subdir_libs] Error 2 My question is: Is pixil-1.2.3 compatible to run for ARM9 processor?=20 If not, can be easily converted to support ARM9 processor and = arm-tools?(arm-elf-g++,arm-elf-gcc,...etc.) Thank you very much, in advance.
