We get copies of the WCAG checklist and a robust html parser and start
writing unit tests for the parsed tree.  Then we package that into a web
front-end that runs the tests on a given URL and displays the results like
Bobby did last time I found it (cast.org isn't answering me now).  I'd then
release the code under copyleft so that it can never be taken away from the
community.

I'm fairly sure there's nothing out there that can be built on easily
(unless someone can prove me wrong), but I know how to use the parts
required to do this and I think it's a really good idea.  That said, it's
not going to be a quick or easy job and I've a lot of people buying my work
time already.  Are there enough people willing to pay for the time it will
take me to develop this, and/or help out in the programming and testing?

No binding commitment required yet: just a straw poll to see if the idea is
a starter or not.  How much will you pay towards development of a free
MACCAWS WCAG checker site, in time or money?
