I completely agree. But the W3C have an HTML validator, a CSS validator *and* 
simultaneously promote the WCAG, and are a better-known and well-respected 
organisation.  Is the open accessibility validator something that should be 
under their umbrella, in order to give it more credibility and exposure? Or 
are they in the process of producing something themselves.

Also, have you tried www.usablenet.com at all?
