The problem I have with 99% of the testers/validators out there is they take
a URL and load the page.

I run a military site, and it is restricted to .mil/.gov domains, so it's
not available that way. But we have plenty of DoD civilian employees, so we
have to comply with the guidelines. Someday, anyway -- it isn't an issue
now, but I'd rather be at least "more ready to become compliant" if I can't
be 100% compliant right now.

I do plan to download and try to install the W3C validators on a local
machine to use inside our firewall for my site developers to use, but I run
on an IIS box and know zilch about Java so I'm not sure how successful I'll
be... :(

Anybody else had success installing them on IIS on Windows 2000 Server?
