At such a fast rate, maybe.  There's been more involved discussion, some
of which is starting to repeat itself, so I'd agree that we should start
to move off into our separate groups.

There seems to be a bit of a lack of volunteers in certain areas (no one
in the Finance group at all - 3 in the marketing).  I'm pretty happy
with the nominations for the steering committee.  If we don't carry on
moving, we will grind to a halt.

days, give it some decision making powers and set a date for it's
re-election.

Gets my vote.

Looks good to me.  Although I have reservations about the invisible
person in Finance...

Six gives people more of a chance to get into their roles.  Three months
will mean that, after 2 1/2 months, they will probably be spending more
time on re-election tasks and than cracking on with the work.

the group on this list and the Wiki for feedback for 3 days?

>i.e. to make a decision on something in the next three/six months, the
steering committee must table it in the form of an > email and post the
same on the Wiki.  After three days the committee make a decision based
on their perception of the
groups wishes.

Is three days too short a time?  I know we want to maintain momentum,
but as has been noted, we are all doing this in our free time.  My boss
won't take too kindly to me checking Maccaws stuff when I'm being paid
for something else.  I'd go for 4 or 5 days (max), myself.  And the
extra day or so will allow everyone a little more chance to think things
through and maybe debate the issue a bit more, without it getting out of
hand.
