There are analogies in every other medium that help translate extremely-focused terminology to a more macro-level (think: executive summary) taxonomy. While I agree that yes, probably 55,000 of the 56,000 people at my work use the term 'Hard Drive' for their computer case, people adapt terms to their needs for a reason: to understand. And UNDERSTANDING is a necessary baby step to our goal here. We endeavour to educate the key corporate stakeholders, right? So we contextualize our docs so that they resonate best and with maximum impact. So... long story short...
