[MACCAWS] Welcome to Phase 2!

Hi Everyone,

As Tony noted, we now have a steering comittee in place, of which you 
may know I was elected the group leader. So first let me say thank 
you for letting me continue to work on this great project. I hope it 
ends up being what we all know it can be.

The web team is in place, there is a skeleton research team in place. 
We have Rob working on strategy. These efforts will begin to ramp up 
very soon.

What's Next?

The steering comittee is going to meet, and we will be posting some 
new objectives and things that everyone can do. 

In the mean time, I want to thank everyone who has joined. Its a 
worthy effort. We hope to have the list moved to our web site "soon" 
so that yahoo! is no longer connected with the group. And the site 
team is just getting itself going.

We still need discussion here, however! Is there something that you 
think needs to be brought up that hasn't been? Please bring it up. 
We're still looking for all kinds of ideas how different ways to 
present the data we come up with. Just some things to think about.

Look for an "official" note from the SC very soon!
