Working alongside other groups (was Re: [MACCAWS] Hello to Group)

I've been thinking that we should be working with other groups (not just
WASP) _now_, and not in the future as such. 

I believe we should be actively touching-base with other groups in order 
to find out what other evangelism material has been produced (and how), and
which are currently being produced. While links have been posted here 
and on the wiki, I keep getting the feeling that we are in danger of 
looking too much inwards and not outwards enough as a group because
our aims are very specific.

If anything, looking outwards would mean that we won't be re-inventing 
too many wheels and can therefore concentrate on presenting existing
and new information such that it suits our particular audience.

I think a number of us on this list as also on the public-evangelist 
mailing list[1].  As far as I am aware, there are people from WASP, ALA, 
W3C, Opera, Netscape and so forth on that list. Making use of that
audience might well be a very worthwhile starting point.
