I think I detect a confusion here between a W3C member and
a W3C staff-member? A member of the W3C is a group or company -
there's a list here: http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Member/List

You /can/ use Dreamweaver and still produce valid XHTML :)

ps - After a bit of a whirlwind week in Japan, I'm now in
