Greetings, Pat Erler! > Come on, you always answer first but seldom in any way helpful. You do not > /need/ to answer any message on this list, you know? ;-) Look, this is 21'st century. There's a lot of better ways to serve dynamic content than directly running scripts from a dedicated directory. I know what you need to do, since I'm that old, that I remember these days, but I honestly have no idea, which web server you are trying configure, or how to configure those I know. (Though, I know, where to look. And if I suddenly need, I could read and set it up in minutes.) > > On Fri, 16 Sep 2016, 12:40 Andrey Repin, <[email protected]> wrote: > Greetings, Pat Erler! > >> I wonder what options I need to set in virtualmin to let a user run perl >> scripts from the cgi-bin? right now, they are shown as text files..-- > > You must configure webserver to run CGI scripts. > > > -- > With best regards, > Andrey Repin > Friday, September 16, 2016 13:30:36 > > Sorry for my terrible english... > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > - > Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at [email protected] > To remove yourself from this list, go to > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-list > -- With best regards, Andrey Repin Friday, September 16, 2016 22:46:06 Sorry for my terrible english... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at [email protected] To remove yourself from this list, go to http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-list
