There is a partial solution, which I am using. I needed to run a substantial package that required something later than PHP 5.3. I found this reference about running multiple versions of PHP. I installed 5.5 (with some difficulty getting all of the required modules). https://techjourney.net/install-and-run-multiple-and-newer-5-4-or-5-5-php-versions-in-virtualmin/ I am unaware of any similar support for multiple versions of MySQL, however. -dennis MAR wrote: > > Upgrading the OS is not an option, unfortunately. :p > > My version is: CentOS release 6.7 (Final) > > So, you are saying that via yum at least, or maybe at all, I can't upgrade either of these? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot - Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at [email protected] To remove yourself from this list, go to http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-list
