Configuring a reasonably new laptop (2017+) with Xubuntu 18.04.1.LTS, I
ran into a snag when running Webmin and trying to go to Networking ->
Linux Firewall:

Rules file /etc/iptables.up.rules
  HTTP/1.0 500 Perl execution failed Server: MiniServ/1.890 Date: Wed,
22 Aug 2018 22:08:29 GMT Content-type: text/html; Charset=iso-8859-1
Connection: close
Error - Perl execution failed

Undefined subroutine &net::get_interface_defs called at
debian-linux-lib.pl line 63.

Not quite sure why as I've installed Webmin on previous laptops too
(albeit not with any *Ubuntu 18.04 OS). The network interfaces are:

enp0s31f6
lo
wlp59s0

The wl559s0 is the currently active interface (WLAN) and has a valid IP
address. enp0s31f6 is the LAN interface, but no cable is attached and no
address has been assigned.

Webmin installed just fine and behaves well in other modules.
