[webmin-l] Webmin 195x issues

First off, I REALLY appreciate all of the hard work you put in on
Webmin. 

 

I’m reporting two issues with 1.950 and 1.951.

 

1.950 - Two dependencies were not automatically installed

perl-Authen-PAM-0.16-16.el7.x86_64

perl-JSON-PP-2.27202-2.el7.noarch

On Centos/RHEL 6 perl-JSON-PP-2.27202-2.el7.noarch is not available on
the standard repos or the EPEL repo. I had to track this down on a third
party repo and install it manually.

 

1951 – Webmin is VERY slow to start. After about 90 seconds, it does
display the dashboard.

              An error message is logged in miniserv.error - Use of
uninitialized value $bind8::bind_version in numeric lt (<) at
/usr/libexec/webmin/bind8/bind8-lib.pl line 69.

              This could be the cause of the terrible lag.
